Write for us
Clear World Dispatch welcomes pitches that trace a specific idea across a language, place or setting. We value clear thinking, careful context and a lively route through the subject over sweeping claims or a list of disconnected facts.
What fits
Propose an original, evergreen story about how a word, story, object, custom or concept travels and changes meaning. A strong pitch has a clear question, a defined route and a reason the reader will care about the shift. Avoid treating one person or place as a stand-in for a whole culture.
What to send
Use the Contact page to send a short pitch with a working title, the central question, the main points you would explore and the sources or material that could support them. Mention any relevant experience or potential conflicts, but do not send a complete draft unless requested.
How we review pitches
We look for a distinct angle, reliable sourcing, a manageable scope and prose that makes complex connections easy to follow. A pitch is not a promise of publication. Proposals are sent through the Contact page; please do not include confidential or sensitive personal information.
An idea never travels unchanged
We look at the small shifts that happen in transit: a new word, a different use, an unexpected reading. Following those changes can make the world feel less like a set of separate boxes.
