Editorial policy
Clear World Dispatch aims to make thoughtful, readable accounts of how ideas move and change. We separate explanation from interpretation, show uncertainty where it matters and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and context
We check names, dates, quotations and other factual details against appropriate sources before publication. We consider context as part of accuracy: a phrase or practice may carry different meanings in different places. When evidence is limited, contested or open to interpretation, we aim to say so rather than make a tidy claim that the material cannot support.
Independence and corrections
Editorial decisions are made with the reader and the subject in mind. A partnership does not buy editorial conclusions or guarantee coverage. If a published article contains a factual error, readers can contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update the text when warranted, making significant changes clear where appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Any accepted partner placement is identified in its presentation. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified as such. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
An idea never travels unchanged
We look at the small shifts that happen in transit: a new word, a different use, an unexpected reading. Following those changes can make the world feel less like a set of separate boxes.
